Like it or not, it's a new year. 2010 wasn't a bad years but with my time being limited with my race to the grave, I hope to make more of 2011. I'm not off to a great start so far, having spent all day yesterday (January 1, 2011) doing nothing more than watching videos, including watching the last of the Arrested Development series that was loaned to me by my friend Norm.
One thing I would like to do this year is to track the books I read, if for no other reason than so I don't keep taking out the same books(or books on CD) over and over again. I'm currently reading:
Holiday's in Hell, by P.J. O'Rourke (car book)
The Downhill Lie, by Carl Hiaasen (Bathroom book)
Lucky Cow, A Cartoon Collection by Mark Pett (bedroom book)
Good Days and Mad, a Hysterical Tour Behind the Scenes at MAD Magazine by Dick DeBartolo (Bedroom book)
The Big Book of Weirdos (bathroom book)
and The Gate House by Nelsen DeMille (book on CD)
Another thing I hope to do this year is maybe shed a few lbs. I'm quickly getting close to a three digit number starting with 2 and since I'm not getting any taller, this gives me some concern. I still think I'm beautiful but I'm in the minority so I'm willing to diet to please the masses.
Understand that these are not resolutions but instead plans that may or may not come to pass in the next 364 days. I wouldn't mind being more active this year dragging my wife along with me if she's up for it.
I hope to keep up with the whole blog thing as well but that may mean just a monthly installment. Only time will tell.
Interesting to note that the all the bedroom reading appears to be comedy!!
